Job Description
The Cake Instructor role is truly our sweet spot! This individual joyfully leads our one-of-a-kind cake decorating classes and interacts with our guests on a daily basis. This individual is customer-service focused and should be skilled at demonstrating professionalism and quality instruction.
Core Responsibilities:

Professionalism in terms of consistently arriving on time, preparing for classes, leading with a positive mindset, and maintaining a polished appearance.

Instructing group classes, using step-by-step directions, floating around to assist guests, and guiding the Assistant Instructor.
Duties include, but are not limited to:

Instruction tasks such as enthusiastically teaching, encouraging and assisting guests, personalizing the experience by using names, smiling, and radiating joy.

Preparation tasks such as assembling cake boxes, portioning cake icing, setting the room, setting the music, using the Operations Playbook as a guide, etc.

Cleaning tasks such as sweeping, mopping, cleaning windows, dumping trash, sanitizing equipment and surfaces, etc.

The Assistant Instructor role is truly a treat! This individual carefully shadows and assists our Cake Instructor. The individual in this role should be skilled in communicating, planning, and organizing.
Core Responsibilities:

Communicating with the Cake Instructor and guests to support classes.

Planning to inspect the space using the Operations Playbook and checklists.

Organizing the room after each class and prepping material for our guests.
Duties include, but are not limited to:

Support tasks such as assisting guests, explaining directions, or supporting the Instructor with additional tasks, etc.
